THE AUTOMATED NON-CONFORMANCE PROCESS Initiate and resolve With QDA Non-Conformance Management, intuitive input of basic information and a specific error identification code initiates the nonconformance process. This input is aided by a troubleshooting guide, drop-down menus, and auto-fill options. Based on the input, the solution automatically gathers relevant quality and history data for processing and analysis. Findings and solutions are identified and automatically communicated to the affected areas such as production, receiving, design or others. The Non-Conformance Management Solution can also trigger corrective actions, assign tasks and set deadlines, and/or escalate for additional analysis.

QDA Alarm & Notification

The QDA Workflow Manager configures and executes automated notifications and functions in QDA. Examples such as emails, print outs, notifications, complaints and actions can then be opened or created in predefined situations. The escalation function may also be integrated with the QDA Workflow Management and supports the QDA workflow function in the Complaint Management module. Activities may be configured and documented in the QDA log book. Only executable with a QDA module.

QDA Scheduled Task

The QDA Scheduler is used for time-controlled and automated execution of program functions. This may include file importing, generating reports, evaluations or general statistics. QDA scripts may also be executed automatically through the QDA Task Manager. Only executable with a QDA module.

QDA Audit Trail
  • QDA Audit Trail records users and their activities over adefined period. It may be used to monitor activities and/orassist in error analysis.
  • Only executable with a QDA module.
QDA CAD
  • The CAD-Tool supports the preparation of PPAPs in inspection plans. It imports characteristic information from 2D CAD file formats such as *.dxf and *.dwg It may also be used to automate the process of stamping for the PPAP, saving time and minimizing errors.

QDA Electronic Signature
  • The Electronic Signature allows the electronic release of processes for check plans and usage decisions. The creator of the signature is identified and integrity is proven in the electronic signed information replacing a hand-written signature on a paper document. The QDA Electronic Signature assists in system compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

QDA ERP Interface
  • The interface tool enables uni-directional downloading of master data maintained in files or database tables from leading ERP systems into the QDA Software.
  • The interface tool also transfers transaction data such as incoming inspections or production orders into QDA. Following quality data collection in QDA, the usage decision is returned to the ERP system.
  • Any configuration changes to the interface defined with customer input will be charged on a time basis.
  • The interface tool can also be used for integration of MES systems and QDA. In this case a determination must be made as to which system is the lead or primary.
  • We supply interfaces for SAP, BAAN, NAVISON, PsiPenta, InforXA, MAPICS, UB-Soft, Fauser, Coscom, TBS Prosi, ActivPlant and a generic QDA ERP interface.
QDA Curves
  • Allows the import of curves with its original data (x,y) for characteristics. Examples are torque curves, force/time and temperature/time curves.
  • Only executable with a QDA module.
QDA Control Center
  • The QDA Control Center Tool creates an individual (“tree”)-structure, allowing for an overview of all measurement results in production independent from time.
  • Colored markings will indicate if measurement results are within tolerance. The Control Center Module can be used for preliminary statistical evaluation.
  • Only executable with a QDA module.
QDA Multitenancy
  • With the QDA Multitenancy it is possible to use several clients on the same server or software system without seeing the individual data of each other.
  • Each client can only see and modify their own data. The system distinguishes between specific clients and across client data and objects.
  • Client-specific data and objects are only seen and modified by the client logged in.
  • Cross client data and objects are for the general configuration may also be seen and modified from each client of the system. An advantage of the client system is central installation and maintenance.

QDA Action Management
  • The QDA Action Management enables the creation, tracking and possible escalation of actions in QDA.
  • Added to each action is the context of creation, a description, the responsible person as well as the appointment.
  • Actions can assigned to orders, parts, FMEAs, PPAPs, APQPs, check plan or independently and central managed and sent out via email.
  • Actions created may also be integrated with QDA escalation management.

QDA MES Interface
  • The interface tool allows downloading master data from the MES system into the QDA Software.
  • The MES is the leading system. The data is based on files or database tables and is limited to a uni-directional communication (MES -> QDA).
  • The interface tool also transfers transaction data such as that coming from incoming inspections or production orders into QDA.
  • After quality data collection in QDA, the usage decision, based on files or database tables is returned to the MES.
  • Only executable with a QDA module.
QDA Inspection Interface
  • The QDA Inspection Interface Tool enables importation of file-based measurement results from CMM machines and other devices.
  • The import can be initiated manually or set up to occur automatically as served from a central client. While measurement results tends to be the primary type of data imported, other sample information can be imported as well.

QDA MIBA
  • The QDA MIBA Tool provides automated visualization using 3D coordinates based on points associated with a JPEG image.
  • A JPEG converter saves the position of a 3D part in its three coordinates and enables automated positioning.
  • This substantially reduces errors and the time needed to create reports.
  • Only executable with a QDA module.
QDA MSA
